Ed Khouri is an ordained minister and pastoral counselor with a BA from the Division of Behavioral and Social Sciences at the University of Maryland, co-creator of the Thriving Recover Your Life program, and is the author of the Restarting Workbook and Facilitator Guide. He is a counselor, writer, and international trainer and teacher.  He is a co-director and co-creator of residential and support group programs, board member and missionary to the addicted community in the US and across the globe.   He is also very involved in the life of his local church where he preaches, and is helping re-envision church for this new season.

In person, Ed Khouri is a tireless worker whose heart mirrors the heart of Jesus. He is a person who has been in recovery for 30 years.  He has been helping the wounded and lost since 1980 and sharing the love and joy of Jesus Christ with the hurting community ever since. His passion for helping those caught in the snares of substance abuse and trauma has brought him into a variety of diverse settings. From outpatient counseling to in patient state licensed substance abuse treatment centers; from jails to transitional housing for the homeless; from residential treatment centers to small home groups. Ed has been an effective pawn of God in each area.

Ed’s most recent teaching endeavor Restarting has turned into a very exciting movement in the recovery field. Restarting is the first module in the Thriving: Recover Your Life program, and is a foundational, revolutionary, solution based ANSWER for building joy, receiving inner healing, overcoming addictions of every type, and developing life giving relationships that last. Ed’s own experiences with pain and joy are the shining example of hope that Jesus wants to offer to all the hurting people around the globe.

As co-founder of Equipping Hearts with his wife Maritza Khouri, his ministry is to serve the addicted community worldwide by reaching out and helping those that have also been called to serve.

Candyce Roberts lives in Campbellsville Kentucky with her husband Ray where they share life with their three daughters, son-in-laws and eight grandchildren.  Candyce enjoys living in the country and having her family as neighbors.  Over the river and through the woods really does apply to her grandchildren.

Candyce has been in full time inner healing ministry with abuse survivors for fifteen years.  Candyce has an affective manner in leading the broken-hearted to Jesus for healing.  She has a genuine compassion for those trapped in the pain of years of abuse and a desire to help their fractured soul find healing and deliverance.

Many abuse survivors move to Campbellsville to receive focused inner healing ministry from Candyce because of the success she has in leading fractured people to freedom through God's truth and the importance that Candyce places on community in the healing process.  Candyce promotes a wholistic approach to healing that includes developing a life with Jesus and others while receiving inner healing ministry.

Candyce has a vision for a safe house facility where abuse survivors can live while receiving inner healing ministry and learning the truth about God.  The house would be a transition place for abuse survivors that need healing and deliverance from the scars of their past and truth about God and themselves for the future.

On a lighter note, Candyce is a closet artist that hopes to one day produce some beautiful work that others can't live without.

Dr. David Kyle Foster is the founder and Director of Mastering Life Ministries, an inter-denominational, non-profit Christian ministry. It exists in order to target areas of life where people are caught and deceived into unhealthy, dysfunctional life-styles that separate them from the power and blessing of God, and to equip the Church to redemptively minister to such people. The primary focus is sexual sin and brokenness, and related issues such as intimacy with the Father, performance orientation, anger management, etc. The tools of our ministry include film, television, and radio as well as seminars and publications that communicate the truth of Jesus Christ.

Tricia Frost - Jack and Trisha experienced many things through the 35 years of their relationship; some joyful and exciting, others disappointing and wounding. They lived, loved and fought their way into finally finding their destiny. From their life journey to find the love they had so desperately been seeking came a revelation of unconditional agape love that brought healing to their family and also to the lives of many families around the world as Jack traveled and shared their story. Now the message of agape continues in the life of Trisha and their children. Jack had for years encouraged Trisha to tell her side of the story, saying to the Shiloh Place staff that "there is a Niagara Falls of teaching in her, waiting to be released" but until now the circumstances of life and ministry have kept her travel schedule at a minimum. Today is the hour of her release as one of many Shiloh Place teachers as we chart our way through new challenges of life without Jack. Trisha's life used to flow from feeling like an orphan, abandoned by her own loving father, and then by her husband; she felt she constantly had to take a back seat to Jack 's other loves. Now she can take you on the journey to find your place in the heart of God as she shares the breakthrough of her own revelation of love at the culmination of her pathway to healing, foremost as a favored child of God, then also as a wife and a mother.

Jim and Pat Banks are the founders of House of Healing Ministries, currently operating in Asheville, NC, and by the time you read this they will be working to establish a more comprehensive healing community in Campbellsville, KY. They entered the inner healing ministry 20 plus years ago, and have been full time since 2002. Through their vision casting, teaching and mentoring they have established a dozens of healing rooms and trained over 5,500 people in physical and emotional healing in the last four years.

Their hearts are to raise up comprehensive, lay led healing communities all across the country wrapped around one or more local congregations to serve their local community with the healing hand of Jesus. As a consequence, one of their efforts is to offer multiple events around the country entitled Inner Healing RoundTables, through which they introduce to fledgling healing communities the various inner healing and deliverance modalities available for them to be trained in.

Jim worked for several years as an electrical design engineer and later as a sales and marketing manager for several manufacturers in the Midwest. Pat worked as a trainer for Southwestern Bell. Together they have four children and five grandchildren. They entered ministry fulltime in 2002 following a move from Atlanta to Asheviile.

House of Healing Ministries

Our vision is that every church, or group of churches, establishes a full service healing center in every community, ministering to every facet of need of the local populous; emotional, physical or spiritual. Just so He can show off a bit.
We believe in equipping every believer for that purpose so that the healing power of God may be demonstrated both inside and outside the church. We are compelled by the commands of scripture to reach people where they are by allowing the power and compassion of God to operate through us to touch that which concerns them most.
To that end, we would love to pass on to you what the Lord has given us, taught us, and allowed us to experience regarding healing the whole man.
